Navet Student Festival: Dream Ex Machina

During Navet Student Festival, the museum is filled with interactive installations and experiments created by students from some of Stockholm’s leading art and technical colleges. Listen to the forest’s hidden communications, create sound by approaching another person, or explore what happens when our tools become so effective that we ourselves risk being left behind.

This year’s theme is Dream Ex Machina – where art, design, technology, and research converge in works that explore our relationships with machines, one another, and the world around us.

Through interactive installations, the festival explores what happens when our pursuit of automation and efficiency goes too far, how technology can be used to monitor and control our bodies, and how the systems around us can influence how we interact and relate to one another. There are also works that examine how we create meaning together and what we’re really seeking when we turn to technology for answers.

Navet Student Festival takes place on October 21 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The ticket also includes admission to all of Tekniska's exhibitions.
