Space concert with Alfa Centauri

When the first light of the universe meets the sound of the piano, something extraordinary happens. Welcome to a space concert where classical music and astrophysics are woven together in two acts. Music, research, and magnificent images of space merge into an experience that moves between the intimate and the infinite.

In our award-winning Trähallen, you are greeted by warm acoustics and dizzying perspectives. The music takes center stage – close, physical, alive. Then the room expands. Your gaze lifts. The big questions emerge: How did the first stars light up? What broke the darkness?

Pianist Octavian Leyva Dragomir leads the evening through a classical repertoire and newly written works inspired by the universe. Together with soprano Julia Lindgren, the room is filled with a voice that moves from the fragile and intimate to the grandiose.

Between acts, astrophysicist Ivelin Georgiev steps forward and takes us back to the first billion years of the universe. He tells how the first light sources changed everything and how researchers today can read traces from this era through faint radio signals that have traveled across cosmic distances.

There are two wheelchair-accessible seats at Wisdome. Please contact us to reserve these.
